Grinding spindles and motor spindles

We design and manufacture state-of-the-art spindles and motor spindles for every application. The precision of our grinding motor spindles delivers surface finishes down to a micron in roughness, using high-performance motors. Our range of bearing-mounted spindles and motor spindles runs from 500 to 180,000 rpm. Each motor spindle is made to the customer's specifications. We also specialise in hydrostatic and hydrodynamic spindles and motor spindles.

Compared with spindle bearings using ball rolling elements, hydrostatic and hydrodynamic support offers:

• Improved runout accuracy
• Significantly lower surface roughness—and, above all, consistent over time
• Up to 3 times greater dynamic stiffness
• Low friction and no wear, eliminating machine downtime caused by bearing replacement
• Autonomous thermal stabilization

• Tool interface from HSK E25 to HSK A100
• Automatic tool change
• Automatic balancer
• Encoder wheel

We can also supply customers with the complete control unit and dedicated cooling system.
